Thanks for covering this one. As a full-time musician (playing jazz and other types of music) I usually play games to get away from playing so this initially made me cringe! Haha Seriously, I appreciate the 60’s Blue Note vibe they’re going for with the style and appreciate knowing they hired cultural consultants. While I know you mentioned that this is really an homage and not supposed to accurately portray being a jazz musician, two main ideas jumped out at me while watching the overview: 1) they could create a playlist of jazz greats for immersion in the game. I was listening to Bill Evans while playing a game the other day so I can only imagine how cool it would be having jazz on playing this 2) cooperative mode is essential. When playing jazz, it is absolutely a collaboration. So much so, what feels a little off for me is the concept of players wanting to get the spotlight the most, as though the players egos are driving their ultimate decisions. We are all encouraging one another, playing and listening together to create the best art we can. So to me, a cooperative mode would make perfect sense

I would very much support a coop mode. I hope they get the message!
