Read all three books and saw the first two movies on netflix. Looking forward to seeing this soon on netflix as well. Larsson was a great writer and it's a tragedy that he didn't get to see what an effect his books have had. The movies have been terrific as well.

I have read all three novels. watched David Fincher's The girl with Dragon tattoo and that was one hell of a movie because it was based on a crime trilogy of century in my humble opinion. I watched two Swedish movies but not the last one (And May be I won't watch it). I am firm to say that Swedish movies didn't Justice with these high class novels. I think David Fincher should complete the trilogy of movies.

My favorite trilogy of all time! i just re-watched the first two movies, and was all pumped up to watch the third, when suddenly none of the links work anymore for my usual sites...aaah! i need more of noomi rapace! i want to buy the movies (original Swedish film, not western) but with English dubbing. I don't mind foreign films or subtitles but i usually get migraine's when trying to read subtitles for more than 5 min. and these are long movies!

Oh and for the ones who say that Lisbeth Salander is mentally ill: she's not. I guess she just does things as she wants , but society isn't too smart or understanding to get what she wants to say or do. Society judges without knowing, like we are supposed to be all different but we are actually supposed to act all the same to different situations, Salander thinks thats stupid and does things in a way she thinks is the right one, which many people dont do because they think they will be judged.

If you'd like the see the earlier movies as well, I'll give you that too - "Män som hatar kvinnor"(meaning 'Men who hate women') is the first movie, "Flickan som lekte med elden"(meaning 'The girl who played with fire') is the second one.

People keep saying that but I hate reading the dialogue and try to keep up with the visuals of a movie. It just gets too tiresome...some subtitles are okay but the whole movie especially this series would suck trying to keep up with the movie. This one had the flimsiest plot, and there was basically no reason for it to exist, after the 2nd one....uh, yah we found Lisbeth at her dad's house where her killer brother was staying, but even after we found out her brother was a murderer, we assumed the dad was a good fellow, and so she had to be put on trial for that...her dad probly just wanted to give her brother shelter, even though we know he has a shady history himself........yah we definitely still need a trial for Lisbeth.....I mean she literally would have had dirt all over her clothes, proving she was buried alive, and it would look distinct from getting dirt on your clothes any other way...yep, trial time. The other murders would have pointed to her family as well, not her, after everything that happened in the 2nd movie.........the 3rd movie is just milking it. But it's not bad.
