There is the impression that amongst some people in Glasgow, there is a distinct lack of any sense of having a stake in the place where they live, or that they have any meaningful input on how life could be changed for the better. A feeling of pride in where they live, and a sense of ambition, optimism and hope will come about, once Scotland achieves independence, and can then rejoin the EU.

Scotland leaving the UK and joining the EU wont change any of that. Go and ask the people of Cyprus,Greece, Italy, Spain and Ireland to name but one or two and see what description they give you of the fascistic EU. Those countries have been destroyed thanks to the political entity that you claim will be our saviour. The problem is u watch the nonsense coming from the news without giving it a further thought and think this must be the way. No wonder this world is on its knees.

For starters, Sturgeon's constituency in South Central not the east end. Are you even from Glasgow?

Yes, I am. I am in the East End. It was a slight slip of the tongue on the part of Neil Oliver but the wider point remains the same.
