As the father to a talented young musician, one angle that stands out for me is the sheer human effort to put on something like this, ~75 musicians spending 20 or 30 years perfecting their craft, each one of them pushed forward by parents and dedicated music teachers in their youth. "Makes me proud to be Danish." As it should. As it really, really should. Awesome performance. All I can say as an Italian American is that it was written by an Italian, Ennio Morricone.
