This wooden coaster is considered the best one at Great Escape, a small Six Flags park located in upstate NY. It originally opened in 1947 at Crystal Beach Park in Ontario, however the steel support structure actually dates back to 1927 and was used on the Crystal Beach Cyclone, but this layout dates back to 1947. it closed with the park in 1989 and was relocated to Great Escape in 1994. It's a double out and back layout, and runs surprisingly smooth for a relocated wooden coaster. Hopefully it stays open for many years to come.
