This documentary explores the 150-mile Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) trail between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Cumberland, Maryland. Bikers and hikers get a more personal, up-close look as the producers identify key landmarks on the trail, exploring the significance, history, and appeal of each stop. This 2022 program is a follow-up to the 2019 WQED documentary "The Great Ride" which gave viewers a beautiful and more sweeping overview of the GAP and the C&O Canal Towpath trails that link Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
