I’m a Pats fan in my late sixties. But I’ve always been a Packer fan since the days of Lombardi and Starr. This team is going places. I see a super bowl caliber team that is right now being polished to win it, maybe as soon as next year. Sadly Loves performance was overshadowed by the Chiefs and their perpetual cry baby fans that believe every incomplete pass thrown by Mahomes is a PI. Love just outplayed them. Plain and simple. Big props to the kid, and look out for that train comin outta Green Bay!

Thanks for the positive feedback, and I hope the Pats do well soon 😊

Also, they want to talk about the PI on MVS as a bad non call but the bad call of a hit out of bounds on Mahomes is not something the Chiefs fans want to discuss as far as the refs being bad. The Chiefs were never in the lead in the game. You can't rely on the refs to win you games.
@robertclark9

@@ElvisRose_. Exactly. The Chiefs and their fans have become the perpetual crybabies of the NFL. And I find that incredible when I look back at the two Super Bowls they won. Both ended up going to KC due to what I’d call extremely marginal calls by refs late in the game. Both the 49ers and Bengals got screwed to the extreme! They’re so spoiled now they believe Mahomes is Superman, and couldn’t possibly make a bad throw, or foul up a play. It’s ridiculous. Every time the Chiefs lose, the sale of tissues triples that week over ref calls.

At first I saw love as more similar to Favre in that he wanted and was able to force the ball downfield or into tough situations and be just a gunslinger. Then his accuracy started to improve and he managed to make some consistent as well as crazy Rodgers type throws. At this point in time, I see him as just a perfect mix of both.

I've seen something like this before in a completely different sport. Green Bay this season has acted rather similar to a freshly built drag car with no tuning history. Got a great guess right off the first hit, but just because you succeeded immediately doesn't mean that you know exactly what got you there. So you start making small changes to see what happens. Adjusting suspension, engine mapping, tire compound changes, etc. until you find a setup that seems to really work. But then you go to other tracks with different conditions and suddenly the tune you spent so long creating doesn't work anymore, and you realize that you haven't created a good baseline setup, you've just created a specialized setup for one track. So you have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what works at the new location. As you continue on, with more tracks and more days, you start getting more data points, and more points of reference. After awhile you start noticing trends related to temperature, humidity, time of day, the track's friction coefficient, etc. and the reliable baseline starts to form. And that's what we're finally starting to see. The Packers are finally putting together a solid baseline.

Any fans who supported moving on from Aaron Rodgers, for whatever reason, suddenly weren't willing to give Love a chance and it truly reminded me of the unwillingness of Packer fans to give Aaron Rodgers a chance before he became an elite QB and one of the best to ever throw the ball. This is a reactionary league and sometimes, fans need to have more patience because as a Packer fan, I want consistency at important positions. I want another franchise guy at the QB position more than I want a Super Bowl win. I don't want to live in the QB purgatory like other teams.

For example, I doubt they will be able to bring Aaron Jones back, they will definitely let Bahktiari loose and may most importantly, it severely limits their ability to sign free agents where they might help. I doubt they can get all of their needs handled in next years draft. Some free agent money would certainly help fortify the running back and safety positions for starters.

None of the guys have high pressure post season experience which matters. Everyone on the niners roster does, and they have streamrolled playoff and SB caliber teams. I think the packers can definitely upset a Dallas/lions type of team. Eagles I think is competitive 50-50. but I think if the niners don’t get injured this is their year. What this year realistically is getting more experience and letting the post season game plan shift for how teams play the packers show us what’s needed to address via the draft and free agency. Because next year is a golden year with loves contract not being absurd.
