Superb stuff. Listening to the audio, I noticed that the chime whistle fitted to 'Miles Beevor' sounds remarkably identical to that fitted to 60163 'Tornado'. 'Tornado' for the record carries one of the original chime whistles fitted to the A4s when first constructed; these had been removed in World War 2 owing to fear of being confused with air raid sirens. Different-pattern whistles were fitted afterwards, but clearly 'Miles Beevor' retained one of the originals until it was withdrawn from service. Regards, Samuel Farris.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think the whistle on 'Miles Beevor' sounded right.
