Thank you Hank Green for this trip to the past. As a kid born in 86 I watched MTV more than any other channel, I watched every spring break and summer break party, had a serious goal to be on Real World the moment I turned 21, and absorbed every music video to the point that when I hear songs I immediately see the video in my head down to the room I was in when I watched it, how I felt, etc. (It's a weird party trick) especially if it was part of TRL. Btw I was at this Hard Rock hotel 10 years ago and someone in the bathroom offered my husband GHB drugs "to go enjoy himself tonight", we saw people having sexy time in the pool during the day, and everything just felt icky. My husband and I lived in Vegas for his job for a few years and our friends visiting wanted to stay at that hotel but after the first day of experiences they checked out and stayed at my clean and safe house.

@@WinterandNoodle Actually between 1999 and 2018 the obesity rate went from 30% of adults to 40% of adults, and 5% severely obese to 10% severely obese. So we when from about 1/3 of people being fat to half of all people being fat, and to say the political climate hasn't completely changed since the 90s is just silly.
