Edge is using a different setup for every song. Means a delay tuned exactly for that specific song. There’s a YT, where his tech is telling that.

Yes! It’s a special delay where it’s just not doing eighth notes so you are hearing the note repeated while you are playing another note, I think it’s something like a dotted eighth note (my music theory is shabby) but it’s basically a delay that fills in the spaces between the notes you are actually playing. Rob does a great tutorial on this exactly how he is doing the delay.

You get the point across. 13k likes 👍🏻 I think it’s important to note that Unforgettable Fire marked the Edges embrace of a rack rig. Bad was not played through a pedal at all. He was playing in stereo through 2 TC Electronic 2290’s, Eventide harmonizers, and more. So an analog delay will merely get you in the ball park. Digital foot pedal technology has become quite advanced an plug ins on DAWs etc however. Anything from War on back is totally in the wheel house of Memory Man analog delay. He’s not my cup of tea, he did contribute to guitarists moving to stereo rack rigs. Gilmour more so. Bob Bradshaw was the guy everyone sought out. Edge took minimalism a long way.
