Skyjiro makes the best market swords beyond their price. Though I have found a contender...Siwode katana. Or the three I bought had no issues maybe I was lucky but I dont think so as they were all bought 6 months to a year apart. Look for them in Amazon, no less. T10, Chinese copper (brass fittings) and great transitions and lines. And from 140$ to 180$. I'll keep on all y'all reviewers till someone does them. They are definitely worth a look.

On this we very much agree. Skyjiro has an interesting niche within this market. They aren't mass produced like a Hanwei, Dragon King, or Ronin Katana. They are not a psuedo do it yourself outfit like SinoSword or Swords of Northshire. They are something kinda in the middle and yet their quality ... definintely at that price point ... is unmatched. I've even seen some reviews that would suggest that at much higher price points Skyjiro is a top brand at that level as well.

The sword cuts very well, I found the handling and performance of my skyjiro to score high marks, feels very balanced and natural in the hands, yours also has a beautifully sharp edge, great sword company, and well done on the cuts Arthur

This was my second Skyjiro. I got this custom made with a 30" nagasa and a 12" tsuka. The polish on this is unbelievably beautiful. The swing with this sword is just so nice. This is my preferred sword to practice drawing and re-sheathing (boto & noto).

Great cuts bro though you might want to try a lower stand in tandem with your tall one and try some trick cutting it might be interesting

I've had various heights of stands before ... ladders ... sawhorses ... and so on. Viewers and commentators were beggin me build myself a "proper" sword stand ... so I did. But ... you may be right. So variation could be fun. This single stand set up though is helping me with my forms and kata. Thank you for the suggestion though ... much appreciated.
