"learn to build, learn to sell" like he said - both become increasingly important for software engineers in the workforce after graduating Codesmith. Need soft skills too.

Did he get a senior role at Tesla right after Codesmith? That seems hard to believe but impressive if he did.

As a senior product manager I also believe the concept of the 100x engineer is dead because AI is the 1000x engineer. The only thing separating you and the machine will be fungible skills: conveying complex technical information to others, empathy, leadership (google even has a test solely for leadership)

I heard a Dir of Engineering talk about being a 100x engineer via growing 10 people 10x - that's how you scale impact

Some bootcamp bottom who supposably is trying to "advance the open source community via contribution" (quote from his github) has a locked GitHub account. What a surprise, I wonder why he wants no one seeing his code? Got chewed up and spit out from investment banking and has come into tech thinking he has a leg up because he has 5 buttons undone at all times and that "he can speak".. Spends the entire video making these broad generalizations that all current software engineers are basically losers who will eventually be obsolete (for no reason lol) and the good ones will be relegated to the dungeons to keep everything working while everyone else reads the 48 laws of power, pretends to work and plays politics. What a goose.
