I’m here for this. I commented on one of Hallman’s videos about doing this. Computer breakdown, practice breakdown, tournament breakdown on 1 video and explain what he was expecting vs what he got on the water and what dictated his choices. I’m also still waiting for part 3 of the frog videos (maybe I missed it) but great video here.

I think in the long run that’s what makes us better, you don’t get to experience what you had by sitting at home or by thinking it just wasn’t meant to be, it’s imperative that we come away with something useful, the way you broke this down is also a tool we should be using to our advantage, thank you for that. So do you recommend hooking some fish in each section of the lake so you do know the size. How deep were you fish in your Carolina rig and could you have used a football jig. Hate C rig
@toddcastledinefishing5924
4 жыл бұрын
The c rig almost always out produces the jig everywhere I go. Plus it was about getting bites and that thing gets bites faster and more often. The hooking fish thing for me is way more complicated and also simple. I rarely fish baits that just catch small ones so a bite is a bite to me. What I throw will catch 5#s and 2#s. Plus here’s the real reason I’ve never had too many spots. If I have 20 spots then I want 30 you can never have too many so a bite is a bite.

Thanks for just hangin out and discussing how you were trying to figure it out. It's very interseting to me to figure out how to strikie that balance between over and under-thinking. As a pretty new fisherman, I tend to overthink and overplan and then not be willing to chuck the plan. Nice to see you adjust but also realize you may have been a little slower to adjust than you'de like but at least you adjusted instead of sticking with a plan that wasn't gonna work. This def better than just seeing fish catches. I think u need to go in more depth of conditions meaning weather, water conditions, why did u choose to go north/south. Maybe even as far as wearing a chesty while your idling marking waypoints and why u marked it. I know I have helix's like u but I struggle w what exactly is a fish. I don't ever see those perfect tic tacs as they say lined up on top of a point or on the bottom, so maybe add that in to the video.
