Christmas Eve. I'm at work with a handful of the crew. No customers. No real work to do, but someone had to come in to have a presence. Sitting in my office wondering what I will do for the next three hours before we close. Then this video pops up on my phone. Cool...I'm sitting around work doing nothing watching John Maxwell do nothing really. Love it! Merry Christmas guys!

I think a "highly trained, (un)professional," is a great job! Be it a Harley mechanic, an airline pilot, brain surgeon, or a beer can popper, like myself! Really? Lights on the toolbox? I see you guys are just being slammed with work orders!! Well, at least the Marine is working... Personally, I get a kick out of the shop humor and whatnot... But I really get into the videos you do, about the reason you're in a Harley shop! The "nuts and bolts," of being a mechanic, working on 'stuff!' And I watch what you do, and others like "LowBrow Customs," and "Ironhead." Just do what you do and be who you are... You can't please everyone all the time, and some people just wanna bitch about anything, anyway...

John discovered your KZitem postings maybe 2 months ago. Caught up on all your previous postings then discovered you've got your own service shop. Congrats on that!!! My comment on this 2018 episode is that you mentioned that maybe Harley-Davidson didn't put a reverse (or make an optional H-D reverse kit) for the heavies as they prob didn't want someone to reverse into traffic. Well the gold wing has had reverse for over 20 years initially using the starter motor. Never saw a failed one like on Harleys trikes ever and I'm a Honda tech and retired Honda Corporate. Never heard of anyone having a reverse issue either and the wing would back up over a curb. Mercury switch disabled the starter if you leaned it over too far. So after 60 years as a die hard Honda almighty tech plus (= all products) I bought a 2021 Road Glide LTD . Was never a Harley fan but love that exhaust sound. Anyway the Glide weighs in at 932 lbs wet. I'm 133 lbs and have been fighting USN related mesothelioma. Wanted something different and HD is all of that and then some. Learned more about HD in the last 5 months and still on a steep curve. Anyway keep on keeping on. Much success with your shop. Kudos for all you videos past and present.

Seeing as how you started your channel doing videos that YOU wanted to do and grew to 85k subs, it makes people look pretty ignorant to unsub just because you dont do the videos they want you to do. That's for any channel. "Suggestions" are nice, but ultimately, they subbed because they liked the videos and the personality, right? Quit being so self absorbed people. Mommy and Daddy lied to you.
