Had the album in 1979, still play it today, good few recordings on it, Stepping Stones, Changing with the times good tracks, and of course The Shape of Things to come, saw them on swap shop, crackerjack, maybe blue Peter! Still great record now, it's a shame tracks like these never played on radio, And yes top of the pops

Man, I've been thinking about this song for 30 years. I heard it once in the late 80's and I had no way of searching for it before the web. Occasionally it would pop into my head and I'd wonder if I'd dreamed the song or if it was real. I had no idea of the group, album, anything.

They used to play this on KDQ 93 in Grand Forks, ND, fall of '79, went out bought the album, played the hell out of it, still have it but no longer have a turntable and it's not available on digital or cd . . . such a great song, such an under-appreciated band, a very good rock'n'roll album.

Love the hard drivin' rippin' guitar, the crazy fun lyrics - ashamed and proud to say how many times I play the air drums and guitar and sing this song when I am driving down the highway - an American with Scot heritage - yeah that must be why I like this song so much! What are the shape of things to come? Good listening everyone.

I heard this maybe twice on the late, lamented KJET in Seattle when I was about 13, and 20 years later I still remembered some of the lyrics. Took me years to find the band, (Do a search of 'The Shape Of Things To Come' on 15kbs dialup and you'll understand.) downloaded it, and luckily burned it before Kazaa bluescreened my computer. (Twice) *Easily* the best song that nobody's ever heard. Someone with radio connections has got to get this back on the air!
