@Taylor Danley Really interested in this pedal you do a great job on showcasing the features however I'm really interested on what are you running this pedal through and into is there an amp that you're running the headrush into and then into the Mesa that the pedal is sitting on? Or is that just to hold the pedal up? Are you just running this Headrush XLR out into an audio interface into DAW and using Studio monitors?

Actually, Digitech produced the iPB-10, over 10 years ago. It uses an iPad and make all the other interfaces look like toys. Large, visible pedal on screen that link to the foot switches. It’s only now that other companies are finally coming round to producing something that looks similar. As far as amps, IRS, and other functions, of course, the iPB-10 is from 10 years ago and is not as good. But they had the right idea first.

Very good device. I've been tinkering with it for five months now. The guitar effects are great, nothing more could be desired. Vocal effects are hard for me to match. But there are no complaints about the vocal effects either. The biggest disappointment is the practice tool, it loads files slowly, it is impossible to move quickly through the list of backing tracks. Another problem with Practice Tool - it does not remember the settings, every time it is turned on it returns to the default settings. Practice Tool - is not linked to rigs, but it should be possible for each of your programmed rigs to be able to connect a specific backing track. It seems to me that the developers of Headrush Prime did not understand, did not imagine exactly the user who needs advanced functions. For a guitarist, the device is very good. For guitarist and vocalist - also very useful. Maybe Headrush Prime will encourage other guitar modeler manufacturers to make devices with a full channel for vocals and a normal backing track player in one body.

Questions about pitch shifting aren't surprising at all in metal context. Most of us are bedroom guitarists wanting to relax while playing with our favorite bands after coming home from our daily jobs. The downtunings are crazy in metal world. Typical established metal band started in standard E in the 80s and gradually down-tuned over the years. Some just one step down, others 3 steps, etc. Constant re-tuning is time expensive and messes-up with intonation and string tension. Buying 5 guitars for just to be able to play a few favorite songs is stupid and expensive. For me the best solution is to have one or two good guitars for each tuning scheme (standard, drop, etc. ) and use reliable pitch-shifting.

Some of the folks slamming the ones who want a software editor are being disrespectful and not taking into consideration the studio users. I used to use an eleven rack as the heart of my studio and thought the editor was just fine. Been waiting for something like this from headrush. However, this is useless to me as a studio user with no editor. It is a floor unit which is too big to put on my desk.
