The shoulder is the most important in a takedown. Great single

Don’t forget to bring your weight down when turning the corner; I was having the hardest time finishing the single going in circles because I was just rotating instead of pulling downward Hope that helps! 💁🏻♂️

I always use a Dagestan Pressel grip ( the one Khabib uses) when in transition in the single..

That first one is pretty common in Sanda, most take downs we do have us remaining on our feet and not using fingers, due to using boxing gloves

These single legs you showed are really hard to counter with kimura but I think they are other counters to it like breaking the grip

Could you do a video (possibly a series) that covers mental preparation techniques for training and competing? Everywhere from practicing drills over and over to solidify it in our brains to practical visualization techniques. Idt many in bjj sphere are covering the mental game for BJJ.

Super low is a wrestling no no if this is just grappling. I see a cut back but did you cutback or just opt too low? Well options are great. Positive there ... I thought this was knife... made me feel ... eh. Eh ... not great for knives.

@@funincluded absolutely agree, but in a real world scenario im not dropping to the ground in gaurd position saying come at me, im on my feet guarding my face exchanging blows till i can shoot a takedown.

Hi, I’d love to see techniques for real life scenarios . I was holding a party for my teenage son, two boys who I was told were becoming aggressive and had taken a cocktail of drugs turned on me verbally and violence nearly ensued. I remember thinking ‘how can I subdue two drugged lunatics? one of them being very strong and psychotic. Luckily Nothing happened but neutralising multiple attackers without throwing dangerous kicks and punches etc seems difficult.

Bjj knife ... yeah right. What keeps them from pummeling the underhook and escaping the one hand wrist lock? Real talk nothing.
