The recent visit of election commission of India in J&K to meet political parties for conducting elections. All the parties are unanimously favor of conducting election. It is a good chance for government to encourage voters as we show major percentage boost in voters in the last lok sabha election government have to understand why elections are important for J&K pupils and understand the challenges faced by J&k pupils such as major socio-economic challenges and militants' attacks these are major draw back for them. government have to establish democracy to curb these issues.

Thank you so much sir 😊 Descriptive- The need to conduct assembly elections in J&K: the apex court's verdict - In Dec 2023, the supreme court ordered the center to hold elections on the 90 seat assembly in J&k by September 2024, in its verdict the court has also stated "direct assembly elections can't be put on hold until the statehood is restored". After the bifurcation of J&K into two union territories, there hasn't been direct assembly elections since then. It saw its last assembly elections in 2014. While in 2024 lok sabha elections the UT has witnessed its historic and the highest voter turnout of 58% in 5 lok sabha seats since 1990 and now the central government should be zealous by the electorates' faith and conduct the elections as soon as possible.

After a long vacuum of almost five years in the legislative assembly of Jammu and Kashmir the election commission of India is all set to conduct the electoral process. Supreme court specified the election commission to complete the electoral process by the end of september this year. Currently the state is grappling through several serious issues like incessant terrorist attacks, unemployment, sick health care infrastructure etc. Successful conduct of elections will pave the way for alleviation of concerning issues to a certain extent

It is shown from the 18th loksabha election that the trust factor remains higher in the people of jammu and kashmir by the tesult of voter turnout. As per the directives of supreme court to conduct election in jaammu and kashmir is a vital sign for restoring the faith in democratic process amid the security concerns. To normalize the tensions and improve the situation in J&K is only poosible by the election. Thank you sir for this wonderful session. I got 5/10.🙏🙏🙏

Topic : Importance of restoring Elections in Jammu and Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir is a strategically important state for India. J&K saw major political changes in the recent past. Government of India took its special status as well as statehood in 2023 and divided it into two union territories. Government prioritised regional security over electoral processes and state assemble elections were not held since 2014. These changes provoked some resentments in people J&K mainly > Feeling of alienation from fellow Indian citizens > Concerns over representation of their regional issues As a state, targeted by terrorist organisations, government should restore the state assemble elections, restoring trust on J&K residents.

Completion for democratic Process. After the restoration of statehood in J&K,the Supreme court gave the judgement that elections should be held in J&K till sept 2024. The ECI team visited J&K after the chorus from regional political parties that wanted ECI to conduct elections on 90 Assembly seats. After the Lok sabha elections the Centre is ecstatic by the numbers as it's first time that after 1990 the electorate tally is 58%. The Surge militancy in the area is a threat So to demean that the elections must be held which would also help the state to deal with unemployed and other socio-economic factors.

During the recent two day's visit of the ECI commissioner Rajiv Kumar to Jammu and Kashmir, an urge came out in chorus by the regional parties to conduct 90 seats Assembly elections. The Supreme Court has announced that the elections will be held on 30 September,2024. It is assumed that the elections can not only improve the socio-economic conditions but also establish the democracy there ,hence maintaining peace. And greatly, it was seen that the there was historic turnout of 58% of 5 lok sabha seats of Jammu and kashmir which never exceeded 50% since 1990. The elections are necessary as the recurring terrorist attacks takes place because a lot of work is required to attain peace so elections should not be subservient to security situation. Also, elections could bring a sense of homogeneity among the popution oj j&k .So , it would be great step to conduct elections to restore the democracy there.

Elections are going to held in the union territory Jammu and Kashmir in order to elect 90 members of legislation. In the last election, voter turnout was 58% which was the highest after abolishing Article 370 and it shows the people's faith in the system and government should respect people's interest and should reciprocate in return. There is an incumbent need to conduct the election before September 2024 so that the improvement plans for employment and infrastructure can be made. Irrespective of the vulnerabilities of the political processes, government should be formed so that they do not find themselves in solace and combat with the foes if required.

Thankyou sir for this amazing session🙏🙏 Scored 7/10 today. Descriptive:- Topic= Restoration of democracy in Jammu &Kashmir: The need of the hour. The Supreme court had directed the centre to conduct assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir by september 30, 2024, in its december 2023 judgement .The former state of Jammu & Kashmir saw its last assembly elections in 2014, but after the coalition government collapsed in the state ,since then it is the Lok sabha 2024 elections where the electorate has shown faith in the democratic process with a historic turnout of around 58% in five lok sabha seats. Thus, conducting elections can further strengthen the trust of the people. It will also prove to be an effective strategy to combat issues such as unemployment, electricity crisis, poor health infrastructure and most importantly ,increased militancy in the region.

After the verdict of supreme court, to hold assembly elections in j&k. The election commission of India visit j&k to meet political parties and local authorities. After a long period of time, There is no representative govt. of j&k. Through the assembly elections rebuild the democratic set up in j&k. and facilitates political process. There is a good chance for center to hold assembly elections because the recent loksabha election, the people of j&k set up the benchmark for the highest voter turnout in the region. This helps the electoral to give away the feeling of alienation in our country, and looking social and economic issues which was degraded over the three decades.

The chief election commisioner and his delegation has visited J & K second time and examine the situations there. They had also met with political leaders of all parties. ECI is feeling the heat after Supreme court rejection their argument of election after full statehood and ordered them to conduct the election before 30 Sep. 24. Though people of J & K parctipated in Loksabha elections around 58% which is highest after 1990. So the role of central government become more important to inculde them in democracy through elections. It is also important if they have participation in democracy by which they can solution for their root problems and they will not indulge in anti india activities.

Subject: Restoration of democracy in Jammu and Kashmir: A recent two day visit by the chief of election commission of India to Jammu and Kashmir implies a robust desire for the restoration of political process among rising requests by the regional parties to conduct assembly elections following the Supreme Court's ruling on the withdrawal of J&K's special status and abrogation of article 370 in December 2023. The electorate in J&K registered a 58% all time high voter turnout in the 2024 lok sabha assembly elections .There is crucial need on part of the government as well to reciprocate the gesture shown by the public of J&K in recent elections by standing up to their high expectations. Conducting of assembly elections in J&K will address issues like poor health infrastructure, rising unemployment, electricity crisis in the erstwhile bifurcated union territory.

Demand of resumption Democracy in Jammu & Kashmir Since the Supreme Court verdict of scrap the status of the special state of J&K, assembly election should be resuscitated to promote democracy in the J&K. At a glance, J&K unfold a historical upsurge in participation of 58% in Legislative Election, to batter the socio-economic challenges and to boost the devotion in Democracy and to cease the disgruntlement (alienation), assembly election in J&K is must. Centre should act as pioneer in collaboration with Election Commission of India in resumption of Democracy in J&K.
