Florida is also known for Gators. Not the football team, but the big reptiles that would make you shit yourself if you seen them in your front yard. Lol. But I digress. Great video. Learned a lot about a promotion I knew nothing about prior

As a kid around 1980 give or take a few years I used to watch championship wrestling from Florida on a UHF channel in the New York area either 41 or 47 It was a Spanish channel but it was back in the day when Kevin Sullivan was the big deal and he was into his satanic stuff with Mark lewin the purple Haze and I think Angela moska Jr but I used to love watching it besides watching WWF on my local channels. But it was a fun time back in the day

Yup. He was a heel when I was a little kid. My family said I hated him but I was so young then I only remember him as a baby face. I saw him wrestle at the Tampa armory in '72.

"Dirty" Dusty and Dick Murdock were the top heel tag team in the AWA when they feuded with Crusher and Bruiser. I always said 1980s "country" Dusty was just a southern version of Crusher... a charismatic, ass kicking, blue collar everyman.

Having seen quite a bit of CWF stuff on here, I'd venture to guess that from 75-early 88 (Crockett close), CWF was the PERFECT territory-Vets could come and go as they wished, young kids could see if they had what it took to stick, and you had all the sun, beer, and babes you could handle...

Hey Dave, I've been watching for a good long while and have gotten a lot out of what you do. But the other day I saw you on an indie show getting bullied by a tag team you were interviewing. It was on PlutoTV. Good stuff. There was another team that had a match on the episode. They had a wifi symbol on their gear and I got a kick out of them. Sadly I didn't get their names or the promotion name 🤦🏿 any Idea what I was watching? Can you help me out?
