I would love to see a video comparing the Timor Heritage and the Vertex M100A. The Vertex looks amazing but the Timor has the same movement and is a third of the price.

Man, if I had the money; I would buy the entire collection. It was wonderful to hear his story and how he's put so much of himself and his family's history in each if the watches. Each watch arrives with so much history even before you put it on. That's special.

Thank you for such a gripping conversation. You can`t fake integrity. Recently sold most of my 12 wqtch collection and have been on the lookout for something special. As a Brit living in Japan with a short military background Vertex checks all the boxes. I look forward to telling people here about my future watch purchase. I wish you both continued success.

I think Don has done a wonderful job bringing back Vertex watches. That Don is related to the person who created the brand shows a lineage and that the... I'll call it restarting of production with new watches that hark back to the originals is a great story. I love the enthusiasm to carry on but have references to earlier models, those double dots on the clasp of the new bracelet, this is great thinking. A great interview Richard and thanks for sharing. The mention of a certain 36MM watch will be on my radar.

Great to hear the history from Vertex, very informative content. The idea of a 36mm dirty dozen Vertex re-issue has to be a winner, looking forward to seeing a review.

I had a chance to meet Don last year, and their watches are absolutely incredible. You can't really find a better field watch for the money with the history!

Interesting stuff. The Swiss sold to both sides and British officer POWs could have a Rolex delivered and pay via their London banks.I was surprised that the CWC NOS pilots Chronograph that I wore for twenty years is now vintage .It seems to have been an accidental good investment having gone up 1000% in theory.

I'm not fussed about the story behind the brand but love the aesthetic of the dial, block lume material cut Arabic numeral and, 6'o'clock second hand feature. I may have this as my second in my collection.

Great video. I’m fortunate enough to own an original M100(M) part of the original batch. A truly underrated watch - which I guess over time is starting to gain presence amongst true collectors. It’s been worn on military duties and casual occasions. I’ll be making a trip to the Vertex boutique very soon!

0 seconds ago As a former Royal Marine that always wore a Rolex Submariner I bought the M100 when it was first released . Had it serviced recently by my German watch guy in the City . He was very impressed of the high quality parts of this watch and wanted to know more about it . Wear it everyday…. Purity of purpose

Wow, this was a treat. I’ve had my M100 for a little over two years and despite many watches coming and going since then, it remains my favorite. Second favorite? That would be my M60C AquaLion No Date. These are just incredible pieces with tiny details that delight every time you look at or handle one. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
