I shop for bulk at Sams and have found that the containers used for the candy and nuts work great for things like popcorn, choco chips, beans and noodles. If you buy over time you will eventually have multiple containers that match. Best thing is they are free because you are recycling.

Hi hon ! I wanted to drop by and tell you that this video showed up in my recommended. I am SO glad it did! I moved in with my now husband almost two years ago. I moved across the country from a home I lived in for 25 years. All of a sudden I felt so lost because my husband has lived here for nearly as long as I did in my previous home. He had spaces for everything in this home. I found myself trying to carve out bits and pieces of space around the house for my well everything. I recently had enough and have been on this serious organization kick to finally make things make sense. THANK YOU for this video and for mentioning the Netflix show. I’D LOVE MORE VIDEOS ABOUT HOME ORGANIZATION. ESPECIALLY things like unconventional storage like your clear candy box turned craft tray. I am a total repurpose queen. I use the plastic gum containers as headphone storage for the purse. I buy tissues based on what designs I like because I store things in them on my shelf. Anyway LOVE The video and plan on watching ALL OF THEM. GOD BLESS.

16:15 just a heads up for anyone interested in getting shelves like this. I found the major difference for the version with wheels is the shelves can not tolerate heavier items. I bought one a few years ago from Target and while researching ones at different stores, the one I got could hold upto 350lbs per shelf (no wheels) , while the one on rollers could only hold approximately 150lbs per shelf

I go to IKEA for a lot of this stuff. They have the clear containers and more "green" options like bamboo and glass. Amazon is also treating their workers poorly so I'm soured on them :/ Thanks for doing all this research though. Helped me think outside the box more!!

MToussaint We've decided to try and buy local rather than going to Amazon as we'd heard the same. Also just for the future of local shops and jobs. We've found some things cheaper by going to the retailer direct and sometimes we are willing to pay a little bit extra.

Great job! I encourage to check the BPA and VOC toxicity of the hacks. The Container store does a good job of having less toxic items especially, the clothing organizers. I agree TJMax and HomeGoods should be checked out, too. Plastic bins for food should only go in No BPA containers, personally, I use the amber glass Ball jars.
