I was never expecting a Syd Barrett reference, or Pink Floyd reference at all from Homestar Runner. Mind blown. I was the biggest Homestar Runner fan in grade and middle school, and have been the biggest Syd Barrett fan since I was a teen for over a decade. I decided to pop back in to see what’s new with Homestar Runner after a couple years, and I just happen upon this video. “He wasn’t in the band when they made that album” is pretty much what I want to tell every Pink Floyd fan who never actually bothers to listen to Syd’s music. “Piper at the Gates of Dawn”, “The Madcap Laughs”, “Barrett”, and “Opel” forever. Thanks Brothers Chaps. You pretty much have an encyclopedic knowledge of culture. I think Strong Mad has my favorite costume joke this year. Love the Pink Floyd references and corrections Strong Bad makes. Maybe next year, Marzipan should dress up as Buckethead. Then Missy won't need to do any lines.

As a Pink Floyd fan, I find that The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon get too much attention while so much of their other work is ignored. Hearing Interstellar Overdrive in Doctor Strange was an absolute trip.
@the-NightStar

@@OtakuUnitedStudio I love those two albums dearly, but I will admit that their entire discography is great and I like all of them. Animals is fantastic and very underrated, and Meddle is a near masterpiece while they were putting together the sound that would later define them and it was also incredible. I value their older work like Saucerful of Secrets and Piper At The Gates Of Dawn just as much. That having been said, on the other side of things, Doug Walker, a.k.a The Nostalgia Critic is an untalented hack, a terrible critic and a bad content producer who also just happens to be a terrible person behind the scenes as well. I have no respect for him whatsoever.
@OtakuUnitedStudio

@@the-NightStar I can''t personally speak on the talent or lack thereof of Walker, as I've never been a fan of his content to begin with. I just know that, as a critic, his opinion seems to be a little bit TOO important to his reviews and sometimes he glosses over the merits of a work just because he doesn't like it.
