I have also same year manual also Tourer(Station Wagon). Got it cheap with only 85.000km. Cruise control, ABS, Climate more I don't need. Cheap to maintain. I would like the headlights like with a facelift in this video.Headlights are ok on model 2014 only slightly weaker which could be fixed with Osram night braker bulbs. I guess the engines R18Z4 are pretty bulletproof according to statistics.

Over here in Aus my partner has one in the VTI-S manual spec and same engine as in your review. I don't think they called it the Euro in Australia and the manual was only offered without the luxury features such as touchscreen radio, heated seats, projector headlights etc. Can't say I agree about the clutch and engine experience, to me the clutch is very vague and marshmallow-like and the engine takes a long time to get into high revs and doesn't have power until you get there. But I do love the way it handles and I resonate with the steering feeling light but being a positive experience. Thanks for another great video with a car you don't hear much about!

This is the closest desription of 1.8 i-Vtec or R18Z4 engine. It is sloppy but I guess they can easily crack 250k miles with original engine. As such build by Honda till 2017 they would be the last good reliable NA engines ever made by any car maker. Some already cracked 230k on these engines ...

Hello there Liam, I am thinking of buying a more modern Honda here in Europe and I need an estate. The only two options here are the Tourer/ estate version of the Civic (2014-2017) and the Accord CW1/2 which is even more hard to find these days. The car market is pretty much dead at the moment which is why I am thinking of buying either one … how does the Civic compare to the MkVIII CW1/2 estate? Are there any downsides with buying the Civic? How is the noise insulation compared to the Accord? I currently drive an Accord CE2 Wagon and it’s terrible at Autobahn speeds. It’s very loud and tiring on longer journeys. Basically I am pretty tempted to buy a lot of interesting cars that you have either owned or reviewed but as a family man I have got to stick to an estate😂 I love the CL9, the CU2 Accords and the Lexus IS as well but they aren’t really that roomy and practical. The CN Accords are from what I have heard also pretty bad at soundproofing so the 8th gen Accord Wagon and 9th gen Civic Euro Tourer are therefore the remaining candidates.

I have Civic Tourer 1.8iVtec bought it cheap here in Switzerland with only 85.000km. Looks brand new. To be honest Civic has good aerodynamic that is better then Accord regardless which year. Sound proofing is ok at 160kmh at least for me is better then even some premium like Passat B8. I am going for vacation soon so I will test it to 200kmh to compare to other cars I had. Tires also play big role the better those are the less noise in the cabin also.I have some Michelin for sommer but will change to Dunlop as I had better expirence overall.
