the last one. liminal space. something i've noticed while watching this is, in every video, there is color text highlighting certain parts of the sentences. the colors, respectively, were red, blue, and green, the three colors that make up the colors on computer and electronic screens. coincidence? maybe. phase one (suburbia) is relatively calm. maybe the houses look a tad off, but nothing alarmingly wrong. phase two (cityscape) is pretty cool and peaceful. nothing wrong here....hey, wait, why is everything becoming empty all of a sudden-? are they being forcibly relocated? phase three (nostalgia) were all staples of our childhood. maybe the gymnasium wasn't quite as empty and dark, and maybe the pizza parlor was off-brand with hacky animatronics, but they were still part of our experience growing up. however, looking back, they look much, much more sinister now, like something is waiting in the dark for us. phase four (memories (and the fading of time)) is...strange. everything has something wrong, whether its two weird cars, a man disappearing in the streetlights, or two creepy-ass guys watching us....who then also disappear. a definite nod to how memories become warped over time, leading us to believe there were things there that never existed (maybe a callback to the relocation video...?) phase five (void) is best summed as existential dread. the pathways to the liminal spaces, as it were, the creepy backrooms you poke around as a bored child before realizing you wandered too far from mom and dad. phase six (new beginnings) is...well, this is your new home now. this is where you ended up, a new, strange, scary place. after you cross the to end up in a field of a place that feels so much like the sun yet....isn't. also, side note, anemoia is real. i feel it whenever i listen to the ocarina of time opening theme, despite having never played the game growing up. crazy how the human mind works. love your videos, keep it up!

This is so interesting. I felt a plethora of emotions i never felt before when viewing liminal things. I feel nostalgia, indeed, but i also felt despair, i guess? A longing for times when things used to be simpler, or they seemes to be simpler, at least. I feel sad, hopint for something to just hug me very tight and the feeling of hopelesness, like, everything didnt even matter because, i dont know, Death, maybe? Or something like, it doesnt matter what i do, i wont be able to reap these things i wish in my life. Really interesting. You should make more

Finally started watching Panos Cosmatos' handful of movies, and the Phase Six stuff looks like stills from them.
