This is just so good to watch. Although it’s sad in some parts it shows us all what life truly is all about. I volunteered in a Hospice Day Services and I loved every moment of it. Jenny in this episode is an inspiration to us all , Her beautiful smile lit her face up. In face all patients are strong beyond belief ❤️

I am discovering what an hospice is in the UK. I think that this series has provoked a remarkable insight, about what the job involve. I am discovering that i would have like to embrace this profession at any level : From care assistant to become a nurse. I feel that i would have had all the empathy necessary. You can't work in a hospice, if you do not give your best as a human being.Thank you for this series. I am 59 years old now and disabled, but the motivation is still there !

I personally miss doing my health care work that I had done, my last client, home private... Passed away of end stage multiple sclerosis, 3 months after she passed away, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis... It has now been 20 years since that time, and I have progressed to primary progressive multiple sclerosis, wheelchair walker all the fun bits. I wouldn't change a thing about my life! It was an honor to serve my clients, and I hope that I can have as much dignity as they did when it comes my time

I lost my mom in November 21, 2022 from ovarian cancer she was in the hospital a month and we were told spend as much time as we can and we took her home on hospice she only lasted a week with us at home, me and my step-dad cared for her in shifts. I am chronically ill and my health is now failing I'm Epileptic, have a Nuerogenic bladder and have a Foley Catheter, severe asthma, COPD etc and I have Dysphagia and can now barely get half an Ensure in the whole day and doctors are saying nothing is wrong and I don't want to die yet. I've had too many near death experiences with my health conditions but I feel so alone right now 😔 My body is trying to fight so hard to live. I'm 27 years old and live in the USA 🇺🇸

Would the person who gave this the thumbs down have the courage to please say why, I find it incredible that anyone who would give this “ ! don’t agree’ as I say, whoever you are I would love to hear from you why? Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but would like to know your thought processes

What is the difference between palliati e and hospice?
@india1422

You can get palliative care anywhere but hospices specialise it. They are truly able to see and treat the whole person and their family. The pace is different and they can offer a range of different therapies too

THE VERY NICE HEALTH CARE PROVIDER WITH CURLYHAIR, needs to get cover up by Mabeline and put makeup on her black bags under her eyes. she looks like the has two black eyes and was running from a hurricane. two hours with her, and youd swear she was mid thirties, she neeeds a makeover soo bad. or is she there for hospice too. not trolling her or trying to hurt her feelings, but shes on the internet WORLDWIDE,,,,wouldnt you want to look your best? id even dye her hair a soft majenta color, like wine, or mauve. eye liners, very light shade of lipstick and some tanning. im a 60yr old gay male and i just wish i wassnt in upstate ny because i could help her look as awesome on the outside as she is in the inside.when i was done with her . her whole family would beg me to do more. like lipps and fillers, brow lift. good luck mam
