Sure this is a short clip and so not much time for in-depth content but... GYROKINESIS is really about rhythm, breath and expansion like Lisa said. I don't know that this short segment is the best representation of a practice, like most ongoing practices, especially concerning body, that needs to be experienced *at least* 10 times with an instructor to begin to feel the method, the underlying dynamic of The GYROTONIC Method.

About Abdominal leg circles, I was wondering the other day if you make different shapes with the legs, what kind of body you would get for each one. For example if you do the triangle horizontally would you have have wider hips and thinner waist or if you do the square a more square body, something to wonder on. 😜

That leg circle would be good at the end of a pelvic clock sequence but don't do it without some kind of warmup first. At least do single legs first. Gyro is not nearly as lame or as much of a waste of time as Pilates but not as good as Feldenkrais obviously.
