With some of the newer blowers today you'd buckle the sides trying to cut those drifts like that. The auger housing on some of the new ones are like tin.

Dam that thing is a beast. My buddy has one and I'm jealous. I'm using a hand me down Honda which is awful for wet snow. The snow clumps up and stick to the throat opening so I have to walk with a WD 40 can and something to break up the clog. I need a Husqvarna super beast!

Either the friction disc adjustment is off or it is not set to a low enough speed. Both are indications of trying to go too fast. It also looks like it could use the high speed impeller kit that is standard on the Crown models.

Almost feels like the video was sped up, by how fast the snowblower goes. I don't recall my neighbor across the street ever going this fast in his.

I was going to comment on the "stones" being thrown. Sounded like my dirt drive after the 1st snow. Then you said it was ice. I saw it was a new machine and going to guess by now you use 1st or 2nd gear when in the deep stuff. Nice video work. Good luck with the next big snow.

Nice blower, wheeled units tend to ride up unless you go slow. A track unit is better for pushing through and not ridding up as much. But that thing will def move some snow!

Most all wheeled 2 stage blowers ride up in front for a few reasons . Trying to go to fast - trying to go through snow that has been setting around for the sun to warm it through - and some blowers have to large of an auger. To help keep the front down you can purchase a front weight that mounts above the auger housing which almost eliminates it. But the added weight makes them harder to pick up the front for turning but the added weight makes them handle better so they are not trying to go back and forth.

That a nice machine, I want to get one is it the low, med, or pro version? In a 24 in they go for $900, $1300, or $1700, that have the hydrostatic transmission?

when you turn on the auger you leave it on unless you like replacing belts, you should always go forward at the lowest speed and an auger control on the right side is not a good thing unless you're a left hander , I would never buy a snow blower with tracks = useless and costly to repair -,agree video quality is good... my 5 cents :)

I have been very disappointed with my Husqvarna, the metal is thin and has needed welding yearly to keep it together. The impeller and auger have both been bent many times, I've even had the impeller pulpy shear off! The build quality is poor but having found out it is just a rebranded White or MTD snow blower, I'm not surprised. They are not build for use in the country with gravel driveways and fallen branches that get hidden in the snow.

Husqvarna has no clue who their dealers and servicing dealers are. Put in my zip code, and a bunch of hardware stores that do NOT sell the brand pop up (never sold the brand), along with 2 service centers that closed three years ago. The website help? Good luck with that, the problem that I had has no 'links', so if you plan to use that website, make sure that when you break the snow blower, you break something that has a link to it (lol), because if you don't, forget getting a fix before winter is over. Bottom line, you will NOT be able to talk to anyone. Customer service is non-existent, best thing to do is avoid this brand period, whether it is a snowblower, motorcycle, or a hand held feather duster. Nothing but headaches trying to solve a problem or troubleshoot it.

Bought a 290cc, $1400.00 pos in 2015. Sold it yesterday for 600.00 to someone who wanted it for parts. Check the reviews on Amazon, Lowe’s, etc. before you buy. I have a 25 year old Noma that moves heavy snow better than this garbage brand... used to be one of the best, not anymore!
