Thank you, SO VERY MUCH for your support of this project. Jeremiah and our team sunk every bit of themselves into this France project, and all I can hope is that this film captures a glimpse of their hard work. These films are meant to inspire anyone to get out and have their own adventure, so regardless of what you have available to you, adventure is waiting, now go find it! Man that was a wonderful movie. Truly amazing filming/editing, Jeremiah and you are impressively endurant. But as a Frenchman, I just need to point out that your map showed the itinerary going all the way from the Atlantic coast to the Italian Alps, entirely skipping Spain and Andorra, and cycling over the Mediterranean Sea! I don't mean any disrespect, no way I could do what you guys did, even if I had a week or two. Imagine if I rode from Portland to Seattle, but displayed a line going all the way up to Vancouver, going over the Salish Sea. Not a big deal, I know, but seeing it again and again along this beautiful documentary is the reason I wanted to point it out. I guess spending countless hours editing must have taken a toll on your European geography skills ;)

Your 3 am start immediately took me back to when I did the Denver-Aspen Classic, a one day, 202 mile, 13,000'+ vert ride across the Colorado Rockies. 60 or so insane people, the ladies included, pushing off at 3 am in a wicked paceline with the occasional exploding tire making things all the more interesting, as if riding in that line in the dark at 3 am going 25 mph on pothole filled suburban roads wasnt surreal enough. Fortunately we all spaced out some, it eventualy got light as we entered the foothills, and about 12 hours later we were coasting down Independence Pass into Aspen, all the more stoked from the experience of accomplishing something we werent exactly feeling was an absolute guarans when first clipping in. Fear of failure prevents a shit-ton of successes.... Awesome to see you and J back at indulging in that delicious misery you both so crave!!!

Tyler - I'll likely get hammered here for this comment, but you need to hear it. As competitive cyclist, we've all hit the wall. We have experienced the extraordinary highs and the extreme lows of competitive cycling. We know the utter despair of those long, hard and seemingly impossible days. I've known failure and felt success and everything in-between. In France, you essentially melted down. It was your choices that ran you out of food, it was your choices that ran you out of water. I didn't see JB suffer to your level. Yes, he was miserable, but he dug into his well of experience and figured out how to move forward. You both rode the same route, did the same miles. Yes, you sprinted your head off, again, your choice. I myself have failed on the Tour Divide twice. I knew I was done. Those 12-14 and even 18 hour days can suck. I reconciled in my mind what and where I made mistakes and called it a day. But I never felt sorry for myself. There is nothing in life more difficult than days like you had. Look within, embrace the pain and the failure as personal growth. I really enjoy your channel and you sharing you cycling, life and family with us all. Self awareness is a learned skill. I really hope you take my comments as intended, constructively. BRE.

props to you man. This series is unreal, the cinematography, assisting story telling etc is unmatched, not to mention the backing music. ---Really impressive stuff--

What a beautiful film. The riding. The beautiful countryside. Those shots and editing. 🤌🤌 Thanks for sharing the humanity of it all.

My second time watching this, absolutely love it! I lived in Germany for 12 years and cycled all over the place and this brings back so many memories…. Miss that lifestyle so much!

Thank you! 🎉 I have a few concepts hatching for a UK route. Hints found in further adventures in the rough stuff book. 😊

You guys keep providing the inspiration to keep turning the pedals, no matter the obstacles. Pain is inevitable. Fear is a choice.

Great job as always. It is an inspiring ride and video! But... the on screen map is way off. You rode the length of the Pyrenees in the bottom left corner of France.
