Talking about spice benefits as being more than just physiological has been the most exciting part of working on my new book.
Family ties are what create the messaging in masala. And it's the messaging contained within masala that's responsible for so much of our wellbeing-it connects us to our family members, teaches us about our heritage, gives us the ability to recall loved ones lost... benefits that keep our spirits and emotional bodies as healthy as we want our physical selves to be.
There will be more content coming on domestic ayurvedic practice, and the role of the householder in ensuring we know how to receive ALL of the benefits of spice when we cook. Masala is more than chemistry. It's food as medicine and magic.
