Dr. Gundry, I've purchased 6 of your books and I am in the very early stages of your protocol. I was having gut issues among other things and went to see my surgeon expecting to schedule a colonoscopy and endoscopy. My surgeon told me about you. I'm already feeling better in my gut, less tired, more energetic, no headaches, improved skin issues, sleeping better (10 hours last night), more clear thinking, I could go on. It's only been two weeks since I first heard your name. I'm so happy that a surgeon MD, western medicine, has stepped outside the box and is passing along information about your Plant Paradox to heal his patients. Thank you for all of the education you provide in your books and in your videos. I've gone from miserably existing to surviving, THRIVING healthy, well and long.

I'm so glad to see 2 titans of the alternative nutrition world supporting and interviewing together. I wish more doctors in your field of philosophy would do this. The strength of this side of medicine/nutrition is in collaboration in light of so many alternative doctors being " done away with". Wonderful video. Thank you

Hi Dr. Gundry, I would LOVE if you could do a video on foraging plants (dandelion greens, burdock, wild parsnip, etc.) and which to avoid for their lectin / oxalate / phytate content? I love your videos and have modified my diet significantly to mostly organic produce, but purse strings are tight! I'd love to be able to forage outside in safe areas for some lectin-free goodness for free. :)

I am a bit confused with the first talk with Dr Joseph Mercola. Is Mercola saying that we should not fast more than 1-2 days? That we get the benefits from a normal Keto intermittent fasting 18/6 hours? If we fast more than 1-2 days we can get in trouble with heavy metals? I feel a bit of the solution is missing from the clips. Where can I get the full video?

Dr. Gundry, I’ve watched a few of your videos, and saw a transcript of a podcast where you have described healing your dog, Pearl. So Awesome! My 15-year-old cockapoo, Starbuck doesn’t have cancer, but he was just diagnosed with Kidney disease, and he’s on “the special diet.” The Doc says this is only a stop-gap measure, and he will get to a place where he’ll be suffering. As you can imagine, I’m mortified. I’m told special diet is supposed to prevent nephron death, but cannot reverse the prior damage. I’m wondering if what you gave Pearl would be helpful in the endeavor to turn things around for Starbuck. Forgive my clumsy question, but if you could address this, I’d be delighted. Thanks!

Dr Gundry, While I’m fasting, is black instant coffee allowed ? I’m also drinking water with a pinch of fresh lemon juice and also drinking water with fresh ginger and fresh turmeric (crushed boiled and strained)
@Hippy2021

The real meaning of fasting with maximum health benefits is only drinking water, pure water during your fast. Some KZitem videos say it's ok to drink black coffee no creamer, lemon water, turmeric or apple cider vinegar. But remember many people get reactions from doing that when your guts is empty. Water is the safest to drink during fast. Am been fasting 20 hours daily for a year already. I did drink lemon water and ACV as many experts online recommended, I got acid reflux very badly not knowing what's going on. I stopped and just only water. After a few days no more acid reflux. You know caffeine, and acid in lemon can cause you digestive issues when consume in empty stomach. Not happening to everyone but can happen to many

Fasting can't be for everyone, right? Shouldn't you focus on getting nutrients in your mouth instead of trying to extend an inch of your life? I'm a fan of the Plant paradox, not a fan of intermittent fasting. I don't think it's bad. I just think it's extreme.

I’m not trying to extend my life but I want to feel good and be healthy for whatever time God has given me. Intermittent fasting has been amazing for me. I’ve never been more than 10 pounds overweight but I feel fantastic.

@@epicsdrummer2010 I think the right nutrients are more important than not eating. Too many people get stuck on intermittent fasting and the rest of the sideshow on youTube. I challenge anyone to eat from dusk till dawn but only from the Dr Gundry's Yes list with focus on diversity, Condiments, light exercise and being greatful for what one does have.

@@bigfan1069 int fasting is not ‘not eating’ It is about eating in the right time in a window that helps autophagy. Like humans always did: move first for hours as hunting, than feast which is the most nutrient dense If you feel like you can’t pass early in the morning,it would strongly tell me you are not metabolicly healthy
