Thank you!! The magic is in the 50mm lens I use in the beginning on that Canon DSLR. It’s SHARP and works great in low light (1.8f). I appreciate the kind words

Great video. The SH2000 was the first synth I ever bought 30 years ago and while I have owned about 50 different synths, this is one of the few I have kept. I have used for hundreds of gigs 95-05 and other than a couple of the plastic tabs snapping off it never let me down.

I need to make a short video about the FILTER SECTION of the SH-2000 --- it's actually an early MOOG Ladder filter! --- it slipped my mind :)
I love that you can change the tempo on the 95000 looper! Have you tried recording drums at fast tempo and then slowing them down in the looper? I wonder if it would affect the sound of the drums like say a SP would. Great stuff man, keep them videos coming!

Hey thank you so much for being here and posting this great question. I should make a video about this specifically! I do have a lofi clip on Instagram where you can hear that in action I think: instagram.com/p/B8ovg-OANJK/?igshid=1wtnm759poeqe

Aaandd... Another clip where you can see me do exactly what you described. I first capture some SP drums live, and slow it all down towards the end: instagram.com/tv/B8atSmvFAiq/?igshid=1plxi314xr1dw

Reply #3 from me to your question 😁 ... So sound-wise, the pitch shifting is quite clinical / neutral, however if you "feed" grit (like when I play the SP live in my video) then the 95000 pitch down will make that grit "grittier". Even if you start with clean drums, it would still sound interesting. Thanks again for asking this. I made a note to go in depth on this

@@ManoOne-Music-Production Hey no worries :) Yeah it's hard to hear the extra grit cause the SP is already pretty colorful. It probably sounds like in an newer MPC when you pitch down your drums.

@@nwonknubeat9331 It's pretty surreal to be able to instantly pitch the whole loop / song down like it works on the 95000... It's even possible to then record anything while the speed is changed, and then speed the result up or down, and repeat the process. I haven't pushed that too much, but I bet you can end up with some interesting realms. Hard to explain, but hopefully it makes sense.

Always wondered why more people don’t own the 95000. I got it right away and was surprised it didn’t take off

I agree! It seems perfect for what it does. Maybe it's the fact that people who want loopers already have one/many, and others just feel mousing around on a computer is preferable, to do multi track? Not sure. It is indeed fantastic. I really notice the sound quality especially.
