Part One describes the role carbon dioxide plays. Even though it makes up a tiny fraction of the atmosphere, carbon dioxide plays a huge role in providing the food for life and making our planet’s temperature livable. And for over 800,000 years this tiny faction of carbon dioxide has remained relatively constant, about 300 parts per million, keeping things predictably cozy here on earth. In Part Two, Bertalan will describe how changes in the earth’s atmosphere may affect all life on our planet.
