We humans have built a lot of time-based social constructs for ourselves. Some are based on things we can observe, like the seasons, and one year being the cycle that repeates them. But things like months and days are completely arbitrary. Nevertheless, we have to learn them in order to communicate in Italian, so let's learn about all the parts of the Italian calendar!
Script by Patrizia Farina, Professor of Italian at Western Connecticut State University and Purchase College.
