Always one of my favorite movies, action packed and love Bruce Willis in this! Plays a bad character so well! I thought we were going to go out. Yeah, maybe later. 😂

One of my favorites from the 90's! Love that opening song too! Pretty bad-ass in my opinion.

I've gotta wonder if any people enjoyed working with Bruce Willis, there are so many people who claim he was a diva to work with. I've never really heard anything bad about Richard Gere that I can remember.

Apparently he wasn't too much of an issue on the set of Die Hard or some of his earlier films. And in the films he did directed by M. Night. But yeah, he was a guy who let his ego get a bit too out of control. Gere has a lot of stories too about how difficult he was to work with. On the set of Internal Affairs he and Andy Garcia were at each others throats and hated working together and made a similar vow to never work together again.

This movie is kind of a mess as far as pacing goes, but I've always enjoyed it and Bruce played a great villain IMO. It was cool seeing him paired up with Richard Gere too, but I do wish they had more scenes together.

Yeah. The film starts off too slow. But once it gets going it's pretty solid.

what's terrifying about the antagonist is his knowledge of western culture and walks of life where he uses it to blend into the pack and stalk his prey. He can be anyone.

I liked this movie. I don't think I've seen the original. But I like when Bruce Willis plays a villain.

Holy shit the Jack Black death scene was horrific. I don't know how you got catharsis from it after his arm was blown off while in complete fear, pain and had such extreme distress on his face.

Catharsis was the wrong word to use.

Great Job Mike, I Liked The Jackal, its a Ok Thriller IMO, Well Directed, Great Action, Richard Gere & Bruce Willis did a Good Job, I Agree though Mike, it Felt a bit Slow at Times, Plus they could've taken out Certain Characters, but I Like it, its an Ok Movie but Definitely 1 of my Least Favorites of Richard Gere & Bruce Willis IMO

I like Richard Gere but his whole character in this was unnecessary, I wish they'd paid more attention the Jackal's tradecraft skills, the movie score is wonderful

I don't think his character was unnecessary at all. He is the man who can hunt the Jackal down. Plus he has actually seen his face before and he has a personal vendetta against him since he's the one that ultimately lead to him being sent to prison.

You’ve been reviewing a lot Bruce Willis movies lately. For the second time, I’d like to know, did you see the Martin Lawrence movies, Blue Streak or National Security? I liked both of them, but I didn’t love either one.

I haven't seen either one in years. I remember not minding either one as a time waster but that's about it.
