Not quite, there is something funny with Michael's mike from 2:00 on. It's unlikely that someone was moving the fader precisely just at that moment, or that he was fake singing - probably Michael's voice was dubbed by him right after the show.

Great performance, and it sounds like every one of them had a mic that went live for parts and was mixed or replaced with pre-recorded backing tracks for other parts. All the vocals seem more live than the instruments. Woulda loved to hear them play it 100% live (with the keyboardist doing the horns).

I had a very impressive afro and I simply loved MJ. He was my idol as a child and remained one his whole life, but when I look back at pictures of my with my fro and my MJ jacket, the first thing I think of is who is the white kid with the blonde afro? Then I wax nostalgic about what that man meant to me and still means so much to me today. I am now bald, as well.

It's NOT the cameraman's fault for missing MJ's dance solo. The Producer/Director has three camera feeds to choose from. It looks like one was focused on MJ and the other two provided cut-away shots. The producer chooses which camera is "hot" and goes on air. The cameraman providing a shot of bongos did his job. The PRODUCER on the other hand was an idiot.
