Great to have someone who breaks Jam songs down. Helps a lot.

I'm glad there's a few people out there who still care about these wonderful songs. Glad also to be of help. I'll keep at it. BTW--requests are helpful. ;-)

@@andydug I am aware of it... I run a Facebook Jam group called "The Jam Appreciation Society" and Desperately Seeking Paul often gets a promo there. ;-)

It's an incredible song, one of my favourite jam songs. I love the live video with the yellow Tele and Denim Jacket and Pauls best haircut.

That US EP release that he speaks of is one of the greatest EPs ever, in my opinion. Search it out.

I'm sure when I saw them Paul used a telecaster for Tales from the Riverbank, mind I saw them a lot from 79 - 82 , at least every tour either Portsmouth, Southampton or London and it was a long time ago.

Indeed, it was a long time ago, but I think you're probably right about the Tele... Great bright sound, esp. with the chorus effect going. You're a lucky man... ;-)

Hey, thank you so much for the videos. Haven't caught up with you on the rickenbacker collection yet but hope to! So, I got a way of playing you do something with me which sounds great until you get to the bridge. Open e/m up to the 4th fret, then the 5th. An open d /sus. Open c moved up to 3 rd fret then back to an open c chord. None of the tab sites say that and I'm wondering how to move onto the bridge in this key. Any suggestions? Appreciate your videos.
