I was 12 when this came out, as young as the kids in the video. I'm a grandad now. This song genuinely makes me tear up at the rate of knots our lives speed by. If you're young and you read this, please travel, be open minded, make friends all over the world. Live your best life You are old in the blink of an eye.

25 years young and only discovering most of this music. Started getting into punk as I’m from Belfast and enjoy stiff little fingers. That eventually lead me onto the newer stuff so to speak. I’m now making my through the new romantic wave of the 80s. I was 13 when my mum used to play these songs whilst she cleaned the house 12 years later I’m only understanding the depth behind this kinda music. It makes me sick to think people actually enjoy ed sheeran nowadays

@@HUNTERSRD_ SLF were my favourite punk band as a kid, so raw. I know it's not the obvious choice but At The Edge was my favourite track by them. If you haven't already, i'd suggest listening to early Roxy Music, the lyrics and musicianship are amazing (If There Is Something is like 3 different songs in one, mind-blowing). Their late 70s, early 80s tunes are more commercial but I still love them. You wouldn't recognize them as the same band from 1972. Keep enjoying the music.
