Questions for the Jetta, seems like everything went smoothly for the regard of the swap working out over the project but by the end it seemed like you missed some things that would seem to come back and bite you later. Is there anything you would change or do different if you did the swap again?

Nice info and review! But the blow off valve only hurts your boost and between gears, because this, vag put a recirculating valve :)

Either way the pressure gets let out... It just puts it back in the turbo intake after the maf so it doesn't throw the afr off

May I ask why didn't you just leave the complete sub assembly (short block) in and add the 20v head and accessories? The compression comes in at about 8.5:1 and it's a 2.0

The 1.8t head doesn't fit the 2.0

@@ImportCustomMods Hi it's the same block 06A, I build alot of these hybrids as good 8V engines are dirt cheap here in South Africa. With a stock bottom end with 8.5:1 comp we get easy 220kw on pump fuel and water meth injection

@Clive Andrews I'll have to look into that now lol I guess you always learn Something new I still have the 2.0 avh laying around are you just running complete stock bottom end and any special to make them fit

@@ImportCustomMods Hi, yes sir complete stock bottom end, the nicest part is that you have a 2.0 upgrade as well. I'm busy with a Audi TT MK1 with dual camshaft pulley setup, big cams, fully forged bottom end with complete Supertech Rev kit. Using FIC 1200cc injectors and GTX3582r turbo.

A question where did you get the wiring harness and immobiliser defeat. And did you have to change everything down to door locks. I’ve got a 2.0 mk 4 golf and want to do same conversion. Thanks mason.

I have a question about DRL lights on new Jetta 2005 and I don't have a user manual book to figure out the wiring diagram. it's little bit different than other it's a very small bracket and it does not have any writing for inside. since you are professional and Volkswagen I was curious if you have any idea how do I supposed to figure out which wire is my DRL light.
