You are young and appears to not have any dependants so you can try different things until you get to where you want to be. Try any and everything, if it doesn't work try something else! Good Luck!🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰

I feel you did the right thing by going back to Revature and I feel it would be easier this time around because you know what to expect, I also feel once you get through it you will be off and on your way, I am still apart of Revature and I've been with them a little over a year, I'm also coming up on my year of being selected to Cognizant and contracted to Cox Communications in Atlanta. So far, it's working out for me, and I feel it will for you, too. Also, stick with Java because it's where you are comfortable at and once you have established yourself in the job, you will be working later next year. Then I say learn more such as python or front end development. Either way it goes, you'll be ok because I see your desire and determination. I look forward to your next video, and good luck, you got this.

I been subscibed to your channel since last, your story is sooo similar to mine. I found Revature in 2021 back when i was living in LA but decided not to do it at that time. This year I quit my non-tech job and decided to apply again and got in last month! I was initially told my start date would be in March as well but my recruiter contacted me a few days later and told me I could start the last week of nov for Java/Angular cohort! I'm in week 4 now about to present P1 this week. I'm the opposite, I come from front-end to full stack (MERN) but Python seems in demand like Java. Javascript is really popular on social media, but it seems employers are looking for Java, C#, C++, Python, etc and React/Angular for frontend. I am right along wit you trying to get into this field. Glad to see you post a new video, good luck on everything!

Our paths are so similar it’s crazy. I decided to give Revature a try again today after going over it in my head and weighing it with my other job opportunities. I recently received a sign to go all in. Wish me luck🤞🏾

I'm so glad everything worked out for you! In two years, you'll have enough experience to be making 6 figures cuz you know it's not a sprint it's a marathon.

Hey girl! Love how open you were in this video!! Have you looked at zero to mastery? They have a backend course. I did the front end and loved it! There’s a lot of courses in their catalog so it doesn’t hurt to take a look!

I'd heard about them but never looked into it (at least that I remember). However, I took your advice. We gotta catch up!

The blessing here is you’re finding multiple roles and actually getting hired. I definitely haven’t had that experience!

I work as a SWE and graduated college with a CS degree a while back. It's good sticking with and becoming strong in 1 language but don't let that block you from learning other things especially if that'll open more opportunities for you. I also started off learning Java and then data structures/algorithms using it but since then, I've picked up all sorts of languages, frameworks, etc like Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and so much more. You can build side projects for fun outside of your current job (for free but with time/effort) which will help you gain that experience that employers may be looking for. IMO, Leetcode is only necessary for interviewing at tech companies like Google, Meta, etc whereas majority of other companies are going to give you questions or scenarios, realistic coding challenges, take-home projects, etc.
