Not sure why some people are being negative, these cups are so beautiful that I IMMEDIATELY purchased a pair. Considering the thought, quality, and care that you all put into making these, I frankly think you could charge twice the price and it would still be reasonable! I’m so excited to take my first sip and admire the beauty and craftsmanship of the cups. Keep up the great work you two, you are one of the best coffee channels out there yet somehow criminally underrated. Cheers from the USA!

Hey guys great video I hope your cups turn out The way you want. Have you considered doing cups with a ceramic artist that does slip casting? That would make every cup come out identical every time.

Just received my cup today and honestly it was extremely disappointing! Inside of the cup is not perfectly round as claimed on their website and clearly has rough edges. There is a very visible join line which makes the whole finish look very ugly. Also, the cup is extremely thin and light weight compared to any quality cup like my ACME ceramics cup which is ironically cheaper than this cup. I am always looking to support indian businesses but this clearly feels like a scam.

Hey there. We’re very sorry you’ve had a bad experience. As for the issues, these are fully handmade so you will have variance from one unit to the next. The cup thickness has also been carefully selected to optimise for the best drinking experience and reducing the heat absorption that thicker cups tend to have. Heavier cups do not signify higher quality. If that were the case then porcelain ware should be dirt cheap. Lastly the ACME 190ml cups are $22.6 and ours are $9.7 so we’re confused when you say yours was cheaper. All this being said we want our customers to have a good experience with our products so if you’re unhappy or feel like the product is flawed then please reach out on email or WhatsApp we’ll be sure to help you out.

@@aramse Hi thanks for responding. Let me clear out a few points. Since I am in India let me compare using Indian currency. ACME 150ml Cup is INR 350+50 shipping from Nestasia. Yours is 200ml which is INR 799+120 shipping which would still be fine if the cup was upto standard. I am sure all the scientific theory might be carefully researched from your end but the honest fact of the matter is that it has simply not translated into the end product. There is a huge quality gap which needs to be filled. Hand made ‘variance’ is not an excuse for lower quality. Expected much better from you guys. Haven’t reached out to initiate a return because I didn’t want to judge the product before using it once which I have.

@@aramse hi, its been a few days but still haven’t received any response to my email. Do you guys only respond on public forums and then take no real action to alleviate the customer’s issue? If so then kindly acknowledge the same here so we can all move on. Thanks.

Why cups? That too with so much effort for an ordinary (good looking I agree) cup. I don't see what makes it "ideal" for a cappuccino or a flat white compared to the rest of the options we have. Something hand-made just for the sake of it? I wouldn't pay 800 rupees for this. With Sofi, atleast it is a novelty product for foreigners. Here, a Dabra-Tumbler would have made more sense as a product. Hell, make it outta copper and you have something whose rustic looks and funny coffee throwing makes it more interesting.

I guess this is the same as wine lovers who treasure their glasses. As someone who loves drinking coffee and make it a ritual, i know its hard to fathom for others how a cup can amplify the drinking experience. Sorry for the broken english lol

The cappuccino cup is specially designed for latte art, drinking experience and more. It sounds like these aren't readily available in India and so Aramse is moving the coffee scene in India forward by having these cups created! Plus they're beautiful! (Please correct me if I misunderstood).

No one is forcing you to buy them so not sure why you’re so angry. Also just a 250g bag of Indian coffee can cost as high Rs 1000 these days.

@@aramse not angry, but still find it costly. 499 rupees could be a great value for the product. made=mad mistakenly wrote it🥲. At end of the day, it's the customer's choice to buy. What makes it different from other brands. Wonderchef 's cappuccino cup selling price is 199, magik selling cappuccino cup at 399.

@@painpeace3619 as is the case with any product you can find them at varying price points. For the effort that goes into ensuring the quality of these and the time it has taken to get it right, 799 feels like a fair price and we fully understand that everyone may not agree with this.

@@painpeace3619 I had the same question as you..
@Joseph-C
Жыл бұрын
@@painpeace3619 I suggest you research a thing called "supply and demand" ... You might find it to be useful in explaining the price of these cups. In economics, a demand curve is a graph depicting the relationship between the price of a certain commodity and the quantity of that commodity that is demanded at that price. The higher the price goes on the graph, the lower the quantity will be demanded. This first run of cups they are doing will be a low quantity run because they have never done this before. Due to the size of their audience the demand will be too high for the low quantity they are able to produce, so they have to keep the price high in order to be able to keep up with the demand for the cups. I hope this helps.
