So I heard about BREAD, now I know about BOAS B - Behind O - On curve A - Ahead S - Stall

Nicely done. I am a visual learner/teacher - I wonder if a few graphics could help explain the concepts? Something like "quadrant theory" screams for a picture of, well, a set of quadrants... The "b-roll" visuals are well selected, I just think there are a few key concepts in this video (and I am sure upcoming ones) where some additional visual aides might be helpful. --TheAncientOne.

I'd LOVE to do that Hans! Which is why I need a fancy Video Guy / gal. Keep watching, and one day we'll have a sponsor and can afford nice graphs :)

@@Semulin I am NOT a "fancy video guy". I am pretty good at throwing together stuff that helps my students. And I am currently retired. If you want to include some simple stuff to help convince sponsors, hit me up on Discord. I just joined your server.

I'm somewhat familiar with Drafting at this point, but getting a chance to watch through this really refreshes and reinforces what I already know while tweaking spots where I need to make adjustments in my decision making. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

Best drafter ever! Watching him for 4+ years learned so much that I've actually won boxes at high value prereleases.

As someone new to quadrant theory, this video gave me a complete understanding of the concept. Can't wait to learn more from Semulin!

While i have heard of quadrant theory before, this breakdown of the quadrants really helped me better apply it to the cards. great video.

The breakdown of the quadrants is something I've never thought about as explicitly and it's a great eye opener. Excellent video!

I already knew about quadrant theory but I seem to keep failing to effectively apply it in practice. It seems like no matter how much theory I learn and how much research I do about a format I just keep making all the wrong decisions.

Since I suggested it - here is an example of a visual I think might be good: docs.google.com/drawings/d/1JSlVzQwkZeUos9h2jrLKcNiBKN2f30Gp2MLryuxXINM/edit?usp=sharing

So I understand the theory, but I'm wondering, and struggling with, how to actually evaluate and determine what cards are good in what quadrant. Is that something I should know as a novice drafter, or are you going to dedicate a video to this as well?
@Semulin

Paul, you're on the stream all the time! Remind me next time you're around about this, and we'll walk through some more examples! The idea though, is think to your self "Is this card going to be good if I cast it as soon as I can" "Is this card good if I"m dying to a 5/5" "Is this card good if I'm already winning," and "Is this card good if we're at a board stall." But ask me on strem and we'll talk about this a lot more!

watch other people drafting. Ben Stark is great, he explains his picks very carefully. LSV and LegenVD are also great. After you watch a couple of different people draft, you will notice that their picks are very similar because they can gauge the power level of cards pretty consistently. You just have to learn this "feeling" that these pro players have gained. There are also, like Travis said, people who make their own draft guides, tier lists or set reviews. Those guides will evaluate the cards for you
