#TheJulieAndrewsHour
first aired: Januray 10, 1973 on ABC
Julie Andrews presents the EMMY Award statuette to Keith Michell, who had won earlier in 1973 for his performance in "The Six Wives of Henry VIII".
Together the duo delves into stage roles Julie had always wanted to play.
Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew", Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest", Noel Coward's "Cavalcade" and Harold Pinter's "The Applicant" are the pieces they chose for Julie to break the mold of her Poppins/ Maria personae.
It makes for a very different than usual episode of The Julie Andrews Hour.
