Hung out in a piru blood hood in Compton thinking of the worst but cats was cool as shit. We even rode pass the entrance to this neighborhood this dude is walking through in the video when we rode through Baldwin Hills. Great video! You show how cities really are. I live in The Jungle where there is a lot of poverty, but you just walk up the hill a little and there's million-dollar homes with million-dollar views of the city. I love it up in the Don streets, up in Ladera, etc. Other videos are just dudes driving around talking about how dangerous an area is, but you walk the streets and talk to people. It's great citizen journalism. Helps us know what's really going on and why. Keep up the good work.

I used to live in the jungle. It was a beautiful neighborhood, good memories. Used to walk home from hillcrest through sherm alley back before it was fenced off. Your videos tours are the best-you should be Los Angeles's best tour guide. Taking us through the inner neighborhoods and sharing the tranquil and positive side of areas in South Los Angeles, Watts, and other locales. I especially like this one of Baldwin Hills-such high elevation and quiet areas. This is like Hollywood Hills I imagine with high ground and can't get over the views for they are awesome-and tours of homes. You're the best and may God bless you and your gifts of tourism.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles California, lived there for 49 years. My advice to everyone, please don't live in the Jungle! I saw things that weren't pretty in The Jungle, Watts, Compton, Inglewood, etc. I moved to North Carolina in 2014 to get away from the insanity of California. Don't get me wrong, there is bad everywhere, but what I like about North Carolina is that it's beautiful and green and the homes are spaced apart. It's very clean in North Carolina, no traffic and the highways are beautiful and green. I'd like to thank you for this video because when I get home sick I can look at this video and remember why I moved to North Carolina in the first place. LOL 😅

I lived in Baldwin Village in 1959--1964. The Dons were mostly asian and white. Baldwin Village was a white haven until 1964. Blacks moved in and just destroyed it. I have great childhood memories. That's what counts. Beautiful place to live. I was there during the Baldwin Hills damm disaster. Houses were floating down Colosseum. My sister lives in the Miracle Mile district.

for some reason, i feel that this dude has juice. he walks up and down gang neighborhoods and nothing happens to him. i always felt that the jungle was a not a place to be. i've been there once, visiting family and it looked ok but you have the feel that some shit has happened there.
