Super scratch build👍🏼 Every right to be pleased with that 😊 Your video reminds of all the ships crossing the English Channel 80 years ago this evening. Well done DTrain🫡

@@dtrain1634 Yes it is sad. When I first went to Normandy it was with a group of 20 recently retired pensioners who’d all been on the gliders or the beach 50 years before. All gone now. Please Google William McConnell, 1st Bn Royal Ulster Rifles for my dear friend that first took me to the beaches. Finished as the last RSM of the Royal Ulster Rifles in 1968 he served from Normandy to Palestine, Korea (Imjin and Happy Valley), Cyprus and Borneo. Also Rifleman Hugh Crangles 2nd Bn Royal Ulster Rifles KIA 20 June 1944 We will remember them.

Looking good. The front pointy end of the boat you're referring to is the fo'c'sle, pronounced FOHK+SUHL. It's derived from forecastle from the days of sail but front pointy bit is entirely adequate for government work.😊

A very nice build. Great job! Do you have any plans to make bigger ships? Like a small frigate maybe?

Only a bigger corvette- 104cm. Any larger ships are subject to domestic sanctions if you get what I mean :) 😪 the smallest frigate is 1.5m… eek Thank you 🙏 cheers
