There's a lot of pain packed into this video. We've still got a lot more to do to ease it. Go Chiefs!! The video, as painful as it is to watch, is an excellent summary of our 49 years of snatching failure from the jaws of victory. Haha! So close, so many times. Very well done. I'm born and raised in Orange County CA. Live 5 minutes from Angel Stadium where Rams played in 80s. Lifetime Rams fan till they left, broke my heart, and then won it all for the "fans" in St. Louis. Still can't forgive the Rams. Started following Chiefs in mid 80s and really jumped on the Marty Ball train. Loved all those players. (DeBerg is from the high school that I now teach at, Savanna HS Anaheim CA). Loved the hard hitting defense of those teams and the fact that they owned the Raiders- can't tell you how painful it is to live among all the Raider fans. Have been die hard ever since. Thanks for this video. It was hard to watch but I made it through knowing how it was going to end! Thank you #15, Big Red, #87, #32, #26, and all the boys. Great video, and I know you were only including playoff losses, but one loss that could have been included was the game against the Raiders on the last week of the 1999 season. A win would have secured a playoff berth and the AFC West. Rich Gannon, who backed up Elvis Grbac during his time in Kansas City, carved up the defense in a shootout for the ages. Grbac, to his credit, played one of the best games of his career. But it wasn't enough as in OT Joe Nedney nailed a 33-yard FG to end the 1999 season for the Chiefs. Oh, and just to turn up the heartbreak meter, this was the final game of the life and career of Derrick Thomas.

My hate for KC is deep, but Its deeper for the niners and the Pats. This Raider fan was pulling for you guys in the PO/SB ! You will win the AFC west again this year, but my raiders are on the rise! If they don't choke the draft, we should have some good games in the near future.

I'll be honest, this is so hard to watch. It's crazy how close we've been so many times. My hatred of Denver still runs deep from 97... Tony was in bounds. I can only hope mahomes can make the NFL pay for all the misery we've gotten.

Gonzalez was definitely in but we win that game if Gannon starts, no doubts. I was furious for that decision he made. Im like you start the injured quarterback for the dude that won you the last five games in a row?!!! Outrageous.

Gotta disagree with that. Vermeil and Schottenheimer were legendary coaches. 03, 95, 97, and 71 teams were super loaded. And the 2013-2018 chiefs were really good

I always listen to the radio broadcast. Mitch rules. I can't stand hearing whatshisname from Seattle (wide receiver) call a game. To me he sounds like he is constipated. I also like listening to Denny for my boys in blue. Let's bring as many championships to this town as we can hold.

6:30...Holmes fumble killed any hope Chiefs had in that Colts no punt playoff gm. It came down to which defense was going to force a punt or turnover and the Colts D forced a turnover.

Micah Hayes not to mention tony Gonzalez “push off”, which I’ll admit was a slight push but is rarely called. Johnnie Morton also had a huge drop after that on 3rd down which led to the missed FG. Game could have easily been won by Kc

Nearly playoff lose the Chiefs suffered was due to the officials. What goes on with the officials is they bet on the games the officiate. If the officials has money on your opponents you better believe you are going to lose. Its the same thing in the NCAA as well.

I agree, but the Chiefs have to be blamed too. That call against the Steelers was bullshit. I can’t even believe they called that mess. The defense is to blame for that debacle against the Colts. The Patriots yes our defense was trash.

That's the way of winning not cheating, stealing signals or using your mentality of opposing use of technology against other teams for that I rather play videogames and last you re not a winner when you buy championships
