I can’t believe after 6 years he could legally go for parole 😢 yeh that’s not fair at all.. he should have been life without parole.

On the plus side he's still in prison about 40 years later.

So many Franks... scary how your house can be randomly chosen for an attack. The monster does not even deserve to be considered for parole.

I don't believe in the death penalty but crimes like this make me re-evaluate my thoughts.

RIP Frank. Annette was outstandingly brave, being able to describe what happened, in spite of her injuries. Lucinda for giving her testimony - ouf- A senseless crime - a guy wanting to rape, first victim refused, goes on to murder Frank, rape and injure Annette. My sincere condolences to Frank's family and friends. And I hope that Annette made a good recovery, had treatment for PTSD... That thing should be locked up forever, key thrown away. I have PTSD having survived an attempted murder/suicide. You never forget..You can get on with your life (I did) but the fact of the violence is always there.

150 homicides a year in San Francisco in the 70s? That's horrifying! There were 700 homicides in England and Wales last year - with a population of just under 60 million.

This reminds me of how extreme to both sides we tend to be in this country. I don't believe in the death penalty, but the idea that the most severe penalty after that included the possibility of parole after just six years is astonishing. I think now we're too far to the other side where it's hard to imagine any prison term being as short as six years, or anyone convicted of first degree murder being eligible for parole. We always have to be extreme in our efforts to correct a problem.

“That thing” is a person, a human being, despite his psychopathy. You knew your assailant, likely your partner or husband. I am sorry for what happened to you, but your own circumstances were not those of Annette. Godspeed.

I could do without the psychologist or whatever she is. Her comments are all things that are very obvious. It's insulting. We can figure this out.
