The fact that this only has 503 likes is criminal! I'm in my feels whenever I pop it on. 90s Canadian alternative was second to none. Grateful that I grew up in Buffalo and had access to Canadian radio ❤

Goddamn, is this what it's like to feel old haha? This was a legit era in my life. Edgefest, house parties, so many sick Canadian bands and acts. The Killjoys were the soundtrack of my teens, the nostalgia is real! Cheers

Oh man just wrote a similar comment above . I remember playin with friends at huge parties where the other bands where friends it was all so cool. So many gorgeous women too and the music was so good easy to play as well. My youngest is 29 and she regularly says ‘we don’t have bands like your generation dad ‘

It's funny cuz this song was the random in between point of the pop punk explosion of 94 with Dookie and Smash, but before it really blew up around 1999. Still an incredible feeling of nostalgia, especially during the chorus and the guitar during "It was just another cure"

Theys guys were awesome i miss the 90s sometimes. I remember hearing stories on the punk circuit of these guys coming to Brockville. Wish i would have went and seen them. I saw them live in Brockville in summer 1997. They played outdoors beside the St. Lawrence River as part of Riverfest! It was amazing AF! I knew the lyrics to every song and was high only on life. To travel back in time and relive my youth...the dream of most of us!

quiksilver78 I missed this one, sorry about that! We were planning on continuing, but the bass player up n quit which threw it all into turmoil of course. We may tour with a replacement in the future, but as of now no definite plans. The drummer is playing with Teenage Head regularly and I tour with Simply Saucer, so we are still busy.

This is such a cool song. It ticks me off that when I finally got turned on to these guys by a canadian family member transplant, these guys weren't really playing anymore. These killer Canadian bands of the 90's like Killjoys, I Mother Earth, Our Lady Peace and yes, even Sloan were so much better than what was big in the US at the time musically. As happy as I am to know and dig this stuff, I am really sad that they never achieved the success that they truly deserve - unlike shit bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden etc of the lame ass grunge era.
