I asked the Lord today "how do I seek first the kingdom of God and your righteousness?" He lead me to this sermon and I have to say that Pastor John Piper did marvelous at explaining and unpacking so I could grasp the huge concept! Thank you for uploading. I love you Pastor John!

Powerful message, thank you Pastor. ROM 14 says the strong must Love the weak; how the strong must not destroy the weak, or cause the weak to stumble - that the strong and the weak should pursue Peace, Joy, Righteousness and mutual up-building together, and this issue includes staying in the Liberty that is the present Kingdom of GOD; the Rest and Comfort we have in our communion with the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. Why are there some in the Body of Christ that are always talking about future tribulation, physical catastrophes, and earth changes; always looking for, and anticipating the worse to come, and in the process causing the weak to live in fear and be grieved, keeping them from the present Kingdom of GOD, which is Peace and Joy? For those of us that have turned away from this mindset of always looking for signs and wonders in this present world to justify man-made doctrines, will not look back and return to that dark mindset, but rather, obey what Christ Jesus told us when He said, "My Kingdom is not of this world"... "The Reign of GOD does not come from intent watching... for look the Reign of GOD is in your midst."... The Kingdom is within you; the Kingdom of GOD has come, is here and now, has been here for 2000 years, and we walk in its midst - the Kingdom of GOD is in our heart and mind and soul; it is all Spiritual. Our body is the temple of GOD where the Holy Spirit Lives in our heart, our Holy of Holies. So why do the strong rupture the Peace that we have in Christ Jesus, a Finished Work, chasing the current news, the latest and greatest catastrophe, and earth changes, the latest wars, that are all under GOD'S control, causing fear, grief, and anxiety in the weak? We must turn away from those that are continuously dishing out fear, and walk towards Christ Jesus, and never look back; pray for those with this dark mindset. Christ Jesus called the generation of His day, standing right before Him, a wicked, perverse, crooked generation that was always looking for a sign. We should heed Christ Jesus' Words and learn from the people Israel's shortcomings. The strong today should stop causing the weak to stumble by looking for current signs and wonders of this world; instilling fear in the weak with future supernatural happenings, when the Truth is Christ Jesus Conquered everything, and is our Eternal King now, and has been for 2000 years, Reigning from the Throne of Almighty Father. Instead, let us all in the Body of Christ, strong and weak, stay in the Kingdom of GOD and in the Holy Spirit, in communion and immersed in our LORD and Savior; pursuing Peace, Love, Joy, and Righteousness, and up-building the Body of Christ, where we know that all was Finished, Completed in Christ Jesus. Let the world worry and stumble over the latest and greatest signs and wonders, but those that are One in Christ, heed His Words, and stay in His Peace and Joy.

The Righteousness that Holy Jesus requires is for us to be perfect under Gods eyes. He told us be perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. We must keep the Holy Commandments written in our hearts and souls and minds as written in the Holy Torah, Old Testament. We must fight sin and live on earth as Holy Angels which His Holy Spirit given to us wants us to live. Forsake evil and lusts of this world. To use Holy Royal Highness Jesus for His Grace and forgiveness and then live sinful lives is wrong we must be Born Again as He said by water and Baptism Amen

Very good msg on condition righteousness with the kingdom. I feel it's important to mention such understanding to new believers when talking about the good news. I just had a hard time hearing, if you could turn his mic up next time. He speaks strong during most of the msg, and I can hear him but only if I stay glued to my screen, lol. Blessings!

If we already pass through the decisive judgment by the kingdom (as piper says here @19:20 of the video) Then in the end do christians bypass the judgment of God? because The Bible says everyone will be judged? And we'll stand before the great white throne of God to be judged whether we've done good or evil we will be rewarded of these things. So I'm just a little confused can someone help me please:)

There is "the kingdom of God" and God's will (the domain of the spirit). There is "the kingdom of men" and man's will (the domain of the flesh). The former is the experience of life in the spirit. The latter is life in the flesh. The "kingdom of God" is all around us and within--it is a figure for wherever God is, for God is Spirit. Wherever the Spirit is leading and directing, then right there the kingdom of God is "reigning" in a special way. Hence, "thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth (man) as it is in heaven". But what does it mean to "see" and "enter" the "kingdom of God"? (See Jn 3:3, 5) "See" and "enter" are not about the physical but about the spiritual. This is the use of metaphor for spiritually realising the kingdom within. When the will of God is being done within, then you are said to "enter the kingdom" or you are said to "see the kingdom". The converse is true. One can fail to "enter" or fail to "see" "the kingdom of God" for various reasons, such as an inflated ego, or pride. This is why Jesus said unless we are humble like a child is, we cannot "enter the kingdom" (Jn 3:3). It is exactly the same with "holiness" It is said that without holiness no man can see the Lord." (Heb 12:14) This text is about "living in peace with everyone" for this is what it means to be holy ("set apart"). Did these people literally "see the Lord" Of course not. They realised his glory experientially. Friends, these peculiar terms we find throughout NT scripture (i.e. enter, see, inherit) are simply highly figurative ways of describing the activity (or non-activity) of life within our spirit.
