This just shows what happens when people don't value how special something like a little steam railway is. People will have memories of their first train ride and taking their children and grandchildren on it. If people take these things for granted, you'll be shocked how rapidly they can disappear. R.I.P Kerr Miniature Railway. I wish I had visited and had a ride on you but I live faraway in Devon. As someone once said about the Lyndon and Barnstaple railway closure in 1935 " perchance not dead but only sleepeth".

This is a chilling reminder that if a pres line doesn’t have enough support, there won’t always be a grant to bail them out. I really feel for John Kerr, such a shame.

You clearly missed what John said and that he wants to keep his families collection together and he wants people to stop asking that question and let him work out what he wants to do next.
