Very interesting game developed by Spanish company Opera Soft. The game was released in 1987 for Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, PC DOS (CGA), Amstrad PCW, MSX and MSX2, being the latter, the best one.
Extracted from the Wikipedia: "Following a robot rebellion, humans have fled the Earth for the planet Nova. They have sent the robot OR-CABE-3 back to Earth to obtain the secret defense plans of the enemy robot base. The player takes control of OR-CABE-3 as it attempts to escape the enemy base with the plans and board a spacecraft for Nova."
The game is a mixture of arcade, shooter and puzzle game. Although not as difficult as other games from that time, you have to know by heart the exact position of enemies in most screens. If you don't enter a screen from the right position, you will probably die immediately crashing into an enemy.
Most enemies move in a random way, this means that aiming for a no-death run is really difficult and luck-based. Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with this run and I didn't want to repeat endlessly until achieving the no-death gamepaly.
This is one of the few examples in which a Western company did a good job on the MSX version of the game. In fact, it is the best version. Most companies simply ported games from the Spectrum version, which meant poor ports that didn't take advantage of the superior MSX hardware.
In conclusion, I really liked this challenge, original and fun game.
